My name is Linda Yoonseo Lee, and I am a junior at BASIS Ahwatukee High School. Throughout my life, I had a passion for medicine, and it all started while I was binging Doc McStuffins in my living room. And now, I am able to share my passion for health through this blog and hopefully, it will assist me in achieving my dream of becoming a pediatrician. Throughout the 2023-25 journey, I will be the website manager of Med-ify as well as the co-president of the Red Cross Club at BASIS Ahwatukee.

My name is Nikhita Kalavagunta, and I am a sophomore at BASIS Ahwatukee! I have loved medicine since I was young, and I recently have been interested in global health and how it affects different parts of our lives. In the future, I hope to become a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, as I love learning about how our muscles and bones work together! I hope to spread awareness about different global health issues people usually don’t talk about through this blog! I am the co-president and main communication coordinator of the Red Cross Club at BASIS Ahwatukee.

My name is Santiago Sotelo. I'm a 9th grade student who recently arrived at Basis after attending another school for my K-8th grade years. I'm an avid fan of video games (specifically challenging games) and I've been playing the violin for about 1-2 years at this point. I'm good at sticking with friends from my old school and still managing to get involved in things at Basis with some new friends I've managed to find. I am the secretary of Red Cross Club at BASIS Ahwatukee.

Hi! My name is Joanne Payyapilly. My favorite subjects are Biology and Math. I became interested in medicine after learning about the impact one can have on another individual's life. I want to be able to connect with others to make a difference in global awareness. I also love drawing, reading, and traveling!

Hi, I'm Seunghyun! I've had a keen interest in the general medical field ever since taking Biology in 6th grade, and I'm looking forward to pursuing a career related to this field in my future. As a 2nd year Red Cross member, I'm proud to be a part of this club that both spreads awareness on Global Health issues and actively donates to the members of our community. I am so excited to continue growing alongside this club while also delving into the subjects within the medical field that I am interested in through Med-ify, such as oncology, nutritional sciences, and ecology.

This ranges from (making) art such as drawing, music, and photography to learning in-depth about the horrors of the past. Medicine and physiology have always been an interest of mine as I’ve always been really fascinated about why and how they work. I'm Ashna Nallathambi. My favorite subject in school is a tie between biology and Spanish. I can easily strike up conversations with strangers and I'm always ready to lend a helping hand. In my free time, I enjoy playing the violin, singing, and listening to music on Spotify!

I am Therezia Zaya. My favorite subjects are math and biology, I got interested in the medical field because I want to help others in the future and improve the medical field. I like playing board games with my friends and listening to music.

I am Kamalesh Goggi. My volunteer work at Banner Health Hospital got me interested in health. Getting to know the staff, departments and general areas helped me know more about how hospitals function in a daily basis.
