These officers are those who help present our blogs to the public! Our two PR officers create blog descriptions of the texts for our Instagram page and edit the blogs to ensure formality and unity among all the writings in Med-ify.

PR of Med-ify

Hi! I am Sarhana Shrestha, and I am currently a senior at Basis Ahwatukee. I am very dedicated to learning more about global health topics, especially women's health, and how I can make an impact on this world with my peers. Additionally, I am a passionate individual with a love for makeup and calligraphy, using these creative outlets to express myself and hopefully to empower others.

Hello! I am Safiya Tarazi, and I am a senior at BASIS Ahwatukee. I have eclectic academic passions, from biology to Spanish to calculus. In college, I’d like to study interdisciplinary topics of science and humanities, including philosophy! Outside of school, you can catch me studying Arabic, listening to Dave Matthews Band, playing sports, or hanging out with my sisters.

Outside of school, I enjoy expressing my creativity through crafting, reading, and listening to true crime podcasts, which fuel my curiosity and passion for learning.

My name is Santiago Sotelo. I'm a 9th grade student who recently arrived at Basis after attending another school for my K-8th grade years. I'm an avid fan of video games (specifically challenging games) and I've been playing the violin for about 1-2 years at this point. I'm good at sticking with friends from my old school and still managing to get involved in things at Basis with some new friends I've managed to find. I am the secretary of Red Cross Club at BASIS Ahwatukee.
